This year, MUNISH is honoured to partner with the Netherlands Red Cross. As part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, the world’s largest humanitarian network, the Netherlands Red Cross works to prevent and alleviate human suffering, both in times of armed conflict and other emergencies.

A core part of its mission is promoting respect for International Humanitarian Law (IHL), the body of rules that seeks to limit the human cost of war by protecting civilians and those no longer participating in hostilities. Through its humanitarian work, legal expertise, and engagement with governments, armed forces, and the public, the Netherlands Red Cross contributes to strengthening respect for these fundamental rules and principles.

In addition, the organisation supports people affected by conflict, disasters, and other crises, including through emergency relief, restoring family links separated by war and migration, and helping vulnerable communities build resilience. During the conference, all profits from the sale of MUNISH merchandise will be donated to the Netherlands Red Cross. We therefore encourage participants to support the organisation’s vital humanitarian work. Donation boxes will be available in every committee room, and delegates can also visit the stand on the plaza to learn more about the organisation and make a contribution.
